The Black Book of Forex Trading is authored by Paul Langer. Paul is apparently a profitable Forex trader that lost almost his life savings in the Forex market. After coincidently meeting a senior trading desk director at Deutsche Bank named Robert, Paul's trading became profitable and he has won back his life savings (plus a little extra).
Paul Langer is the owner of Forex Life and has authored this single publication (to date).
Below is my review of The Black Book of Forex Trading: A proven method to become a profitable trader in four months and reach your financial freedom by doing it...
At first, I thought this book may be another 1 Hour Trading nightmare but The Black Book of Forex Trading is actually slightly more interesting and a little bit better written. The story of Paul's success seems a little too 'cheesy' and arouses some suspicion but who knows, it could be true. Due to the advice from Robert, Paul dropped his indicator-based trading strategies that were losing him money and learnt the basics of price action. The Black Book of Forex Trading contains the story of Paul and Robert, the basics of price action analysis and some extra insights by Paul.
The book contains a number of spelling mistakes but it is an interesting read. Some of Paul's Forex trading insights are useful and I am glad that he included them in this book. Overall though, the book is nothing special. Just like 1 Hour Trading, this is a very short publication which contains material that can easily be found on-line for free (try BabyPips or Technical Forex). I suggest investing in something more substantial and more worth the read (try my Top 10 Most Recommended Trading Books).
