The Complete Investment Banking Course - Trading Course Review

The Complete Investment Banking Course is not a trading course. It does not offer insights into technical analysis, money management, trading strategies or provide other typical trading course content - I understand this. The reason why I wanted to take and review this course is that many financial traders have an active interest in investment banking and their role within equity, debt and other financial markets.

Below is my review of The Complete Investment Banking Course...

It's well-worth the price

Just like many of the courses offered at Udemy, this course costs the absolute minimal. There is hours of video, quizzes and other content. If you are looking for an alternative to an investment banking book, then I suggest taking this course.

It's engaging

Each video is well-animated and colourful. The scenes through the videos relate well to what is being taught. The audio is clear and the voice/lecturer changes often. All of this helps the content to be engaging and the listener to keep attention.

It speaks to investment bank enthusiasts

The world's biggest investment banks are mentioned often and are used as examples throughout the lectures. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, HSBC and Barclays are discussed throughout the course.

Summary

The course is a great "add-on" to those who have a basic understanding of the investment banking industry. As a trader, the knowledge shared in the course is worth knowing but it is defiantly not essential. Due to the low-cost of the course, I suggest you take it.
